The Asia Foundation in Timor-Leste (an International NGO) is currently seeking candidates for the position of Receptionist/Personal Assistant to the Country Representative. The incumbent will be responsible for administrative support to the Country Representative and for receptionist duties of The Asia Foundation. The tasks will include but are not limited to international travel arrangements, routine correspondence and reports, maintaining Representative’s files and comprehensive contact lists, responding to inquiries, greeting visitors, answering telephone, and other administrative support tasks.
Required qualifications:
·         Demonstrate work experience in the area of office administration work.
·         At least 1 year experience in administrative work.
·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Tetum.  Portuguese and Indonesian proficiency also preferred.
·         Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrate administration and organizational ability and computer proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet.
·         Work experience with international organization preferred.
·         Independent and proactive, while being able to work in team, especially cross culture.
·         Ability and willingness to work under minimum supervision.
