Marie Stopes International Timor Leste is the newest partner of the Marie Stopes International (MSI) Partnership.  MSI is regarded as one of the world’s leading sexual and reproductive healthcare not-for-profit organizations. MSI Timor Leste is currently looking to fill the following position:

Fleet Officer – National Position

Summary of the Position

As Fleet Officer, you will be responsible for organising adequate, efficient and safe transport for all MSITL personnel and goods, and for the overall fleet management activities within the organisation in accordance to the fleet management procedures, guidelines and business rules as set by MSITL.

The Fleet Officer will be responsible for effective supervision of fleet, including motor vehicles and motorcycles, as required by MSITL. S/he shall ensure best practices in the management of fleet information and in accordance with MSI Partnership and donor requirements.Based at the Head Office in Dili, you will be expected to travel within Timor-Leste as required.

Key Competencies Required

·         Completed secondary school

·         Minimum of 3 years experience as a driver.

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Demonstrated experience and skill in team management: motivation, coaching, job appraisal, recruitment, disciplinary measures

·         Demonstrable experience of a range of logistics activities, route scheduling, vehicle service and maintenance, and general transportation/travel management.

·         Ability to organize & priorities workload independently, using initiative when appropriate.

·         Knowledge of vehicle mechanics and maintenance

·         Basic computing skills – ability to use Microsoft applications and basic fleet management systems
